Urge Our Representatives To Represent Us!
In Perspective...
8342 in California, 399 in Fresno!
This is the equivalent of civilian deaths in Iraq, 6599 confirmed in Jly/Aug of 2006!
Is it any wonder, that 71% of the Iraqi people want us to leave; that in a Zogby poll of US troops serving in Iraq (6/2006) 72% said they “should be pulled out within one year;” that 72% of Americans disapprove of Bush’s handling of this war?
Is it time to replace our Commander In Chief? Has he finally reached his highest level of incompetence, or are we going to allow him to reach higher levels? Do we want an inept civilian Commander, who never experienced battle, making life and death decisions for our troops and directing this deadly war? Do we want someone leading our troops, who naively told Pat Robertson in May of 2003 that “we're not going to have any casualties” (In the Iraqi Invasion)? (Denied By Karl Rove).
Can we continue to support the irresponsible actions of quite possibly “the worst President in the history of America”? In a survey of US historians: 81% concluded the Bush Administration to be a failure!
When are YOU going to demand Impeachment?

Wisdom, Knowledge and Common Sense
Muslim Wisdom In Fresno
Post 9/11 and pre the invasion of Iraq, I had the opportunity to talk to several Fresno and Madera Muslim convenience store owners, owners that I had the privilege of knowing and working with for several years.
In our conversations regarding the imminent invasion they explained to me the consequences of this action: That Iraq would fall into an all out civil war as a result of sectarian and other differences between the Kurds, Shi'ite and Sunni populations. They explained how Saddam and previous Iraqi dictators had managed to viciously, and necessarily, control Iraq, a country that otherwise would be in chaos. Under Saddam's rule, although ruthless, the factions managed to live together in relative peace, integrate into each others neighborhoods and even intermarry.
To bad Mr. Bush did not have the opportunity to talk to Fresno Muslims and listen to their assessment; then again, that would not have worked, he wouldn't and still doesn't listen to and value the opinions and knowledge of anyone who does not agree with him, anyone with common sense, reason and a perspective on history!
