Truth Hurts…
For those of you that continue to believe anything this administration spews regarding our environment and Global Warming, please consider: A just released survey of 300 government scientists, by the Government Accountability Project and Union of Concerned Scientists, found that nearly half the scientists had seen or experienced pressure to delete words like "global warming" from written material. About 40 percent said that they had seen changes to materials that changed their scientific meanings.
For what it’s worth folks, we have been outright lied to, lied to by omission, distortion, falsification, and relevance, take your pick. But persevere; each day now brings out more truth, truth of Cheney and Rove’s role in the Valerie Plame outing; truth of the dire situation in Iraq. Unfortunately, I fear, as the distortions and reasons for the Iraqi invasion unfold, we will only then KNOW for what lies, and mistakes, our brave soldiers have given their precious lives!

Urge Our Representatives To Represent Us!
In Perspective...
8342 in California, 399 in Fresno!
This is the equivalent of civilian deaths in Iraq, 6599 confirmed in Jly/Aug of 2006!
Is it any wonder, that 71% of the Iraqi people want us to leave; that in a Zogby poll of US troops serving in Iraq (6/2006) 72% said they “should be pulled out within one year;” that 72% of Americans disapprove of Bush’s handling of this war?
Is it time to replace our Commander In Chief? Has he finally reached his highest level of incompetence, or are we going to allow him to reach higher levels? Do we want an inept civilian Commander, who never experienced battle, making life and death decisions for our troops and directing this deadly war? Do we want someone leading our troops, who naively told Pat Robertson in May of 2003 that “we're not going to have any casualties” (In the Iraqi Invasion)? (Denied By Karl Rove).
Can we continue to support the irresponsible actions of quite possibly “the worst President in the history of America”? In a survey of US historians: 81% concluded the Bush Administration to be a failure!
When are YOU going to demand Impeachment?

Wisdom, Knowledge and Common Sense
Muslim Wisdom In Fresno
Post 9/11 and pre the invasion of Iraq, I had the opportunity to talk to several Fresno and Madera Muslim convenience store owners, owners that I had the privilege of knowing and working with for several years.
In our conversations regarding the imminent invasion they explained to me the consequences of this action: That Iraq would fall into an all out civil war as a result of sectarian and other differences between the Kurds, Shi'ite and Sunni populations. They explained how Saddam and previous Iraqi dictators had managed to viciously, and necessarily, control Iraq, a country that otherwise would be in chaos. Under Saddam's rule, although ruthless, the factions managed to live together in relative peace, integrate into each others neighborhoods and even intermarry.
To bad Mr. Bush did not have the opportunity to talk to Fresno Muslims and listen to their assessment; then again, that would not have worked, he wouldn't and still doesn't listen to and value the opinions and knowledge of anyone who does not agree with him, anyone with common sense, reason and a perspective on history!

Torture And The Bush Administration
Jesus Endorses Torture
In an amazing turnaround, returning after 2006 years, Jesus has reversed his doctrine on human rights. In a statement released by the White House office of Karl Rove, Jesus is quoted as saying, “It is now permissible to administer drugs or induce severe mental stress, just as long as it falls just short of producing irreversible damage; or pain a little milder than that of organ failure, impairment of bodily function, or even death." Jesus’s statement, which specifically endorses the Bush Administration’s policy on torture, is felt by many within the Beltway to be a significant development in shoring up faltering Christian support for the Bush Policy on torturing human beings. Jesus, a victim of torture, was also quoted as saying, “that had this type of policy been around in my day, I would not have died so prematurely and probably been able to preach for another fifty years.” He was also quoted as saying, “that any torture, to a possible terrorist, outside of US territory, under the direction of paid mercenaries and contract security companies, was not in violation of the Geneva Conventions, as I understood them.” In the interest of National Security, Rove’s office, announced that Jesus would not be making any public appearances on this return visit!

Outrage Against The War In Iraq
Let The Outrage Begin!
As of 11/22, 2879 American Servicemen have died in Iraq and 20,887 are wounded! This alone is repulsive, but slowly the bitterly sad truth is emerging. The truth that these painful losses are the result of a Bush/Cheney plan (Spring 2001) to invade Iraq (Pre 9/11) and privatize its oil fields, thereby eliminating foreign oil companies that were already positioned to develop Iraqi oil. Had Bush/Cheney allowed the UN sanctions to work, the US oil industry would have been totally out of business in Iraq! The National Security Council’s melding of war plans for Iraq, with the Cheney Energy Task Force objective of capturing existing and potential oil fields, should have every American demanding the Abolition of this corrupt and deceptive administration and prosecuting them for war crimes for the deaths of these American soldiers! Bush finally acknowledged a link between the War and Oil, when in a stump speech (Colorado, 11/4) he uttered, “If we leave Iraq, the terrorists get the oil.” The question all American’s should be considering is, “How many more of our sons and daughters are going to die before ‘the terrorists get the oil’, be these ‘terrorists’, American, Sunni or Shiite?”
